About Me!
My name is Zak Leek.
I am an Engineer, Physicist, Designer, and Adventurer with a passion for innovating and communicating wild, imaginative ideas ranging from robotic exoskeleton suits to quantum physics.
I have lived in South East London my whole life and am currently studying Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College London. I was awarded a prestigious Arkwright Engineering Scholarship in 2021, through which I have received mentorship and funds to help me with my projects.
Outside my school life I enjoy tinkering with electronics projects, visiting the Royal Institution, Rock Climbing and doing charitable work with Scouts, where I am a Beaver's leader.
I am a Quantum Leader with Qsium, an educational organisation aiming to democratise quantum education and
establish "quantum literacy" amongst aspiring quantum Physicists and Engineers in Sixth Form.
